Upcoming Indonesian albums: what's coming in late 2026 and 2027
Two albums with firm dates, several promised before the year ends, and a few further out, sorted by how certain they are.
Checked against the sources at the end of this article on 1 October 2026. Dates can move; follow the artists' own accounts for changes.
Two Indonesian albums have firm dates in October, several more are promised before the year is out, and a handful of artists have started talking about 2027. Here is where things stand, from the most certain to the least.
Two dates to circle
9 October is a busy Friday. Lyodra Ginting releases her third album, Terkunci di Kamu, ten songs including "Bersamamu" with Bilal Indrajaya. She announced it on her Instagram, started dropping teasers on 22 September and revealed the tracklist on 30 September.
The same day, Avhath release their self-titled debut full album, nine tracks led by "amassed", which came out on 10 September. Guitarist Reynir produced it, and the band brought in Will Killingsworth to master the digital version and Colin Marston for the physical release.
Before the year is out
Three more releases are pencilled in for the end of 2026 without exact dates. Lampung's JIVA MAYA plan a debut mini album in December, introduced by the single "D.I.J (Detik Ini Juga)" on 4 September. Bogor band Falaci are aiming for a debut album at the end of the year, opened by "Another Cycle" on 9 September. And Jikustik are preparing Melintasi Waktu: The Final Chapter, around 30 older songs in new arrangements. Despite the title, the band says "The Final Chapter" refers to the project, not to a break-up.
Further on
&BODEVAN are targeting their first full album for 2027 and introduce it with the single "Hidup Tak Seperti Maumu", out 2 October. Maliq & D'Essentials are in the studio on their tenth album; drummer Widi told Kumparan in July that the band keeps wanting to rework the songs, so there is no title or date yet.
Two more are on the way without dates. Amalgama's debut album, Dekadus, was set in motion by "Fenomenon" (4 September, via demajors), the band's first release since 2021. And Ade Govinda and Gloria Jessica are working on Blue, a joint album of heartbreak songs that began with "Terbelah Jadi Dua", whose video came out in April.
