Upcoming albums: October to December 2026
Every album here has an officially announced date. Dates can still move, so check the artist's own channels before release day.
Dates checked against official announcements and the sources at the end of this article on 1 October 2026.
The last quarter of 2026 is shaping up to be a heavy one, and not only in the metal sense. Between now and mid-November, Victoria Monét, Troye Sivan, Michael Kiwanuka, Tony Iommi, Nickelback and U2 all have albums with confirmed release dates.
October
Victoria Monét goes first. Frequency of Love, the follow-up to Jaguar II, is out on 2 October through Lovett Music/RCA. She announced it in July alongside "Reach Out", a single produced by Kaytranada and D'Mile, and the album's pre-save page lists 22 tracks.
A week later, on 9 October, Troye Sivan releases She's the Best, his fourth album and his first for Interscope, through Tokky's. The rollout has been star-studded: Nicole Kidman and Sasha Colby appear in the title track's video, and the second single, "Party", borrows from Madonna's "Music". George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Leland and Styalz Fuego share production.
The most affecting announcement of the season came from Michael Kiwanuka. When he revealed FUDGE in late September, a 12-track album due on Polydor on 23 October, he also shared that he had suffered a severe stroke caused by a brain bleed, which pushed the record back by almost a year.
The same day brings something much louder. Tony Iommi's From the Dark (BMG) has eight tracks, ten on the deluxe CD, with Jorn Lande singing on all of them, including the lead single "World Alone". Nickelback then close the month on 30 October with Everything Under the Sun (Virgin Music Group), twelve songs that follow 2022's Get Rollin', trailed by "Rattle the Cage" featuring guitarist John 5.
November
U2's Carnaval De Luz, out 13 November, is the one most people will be watching. It is the band's first album of new songs since Songs of Experience in 2017: twelve tracks on Interscope, led by "Silencio" and produced by Jacknife Lee, with a credit list that takes in Ryan Tedder, Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Martin Garrix and Dolly Parton.
Every date here comes from an official announcement, but release dates do move, so check the artists' own channels in the week before. For records further out, see albums expected in 2027; for what already landed, September's new albums.
